Most people who arrive saying 'the problem is my partner' are in fact caught in an old pattern. Each of the two does things that explain the other's reaction, and those explanations rebuild the cycle.
In a joint session we build a conversation in which both sides are actually heard — not to assign blame, but to understand what was left unsaid underneath the anger. Sometimes the first thing to establish is what must **not** happen.

Questions people ask
Common questions
For repairing the relationship, yes. If one partner is not willing to take part, the work continues individually on your own contribution and on decisions about the future.
Blame usually produces defensiveness and closes the conversation down. The method replaces 'you always…' with 'what hurts you?', and that single change opens the space.
It depends on how deep the mistrust is. Sometimes five or six sessions are enough; sometimes the work runs longer. We work out a realistic range together at the first session.
